In 2013 HuffPost.com published an article reporting that
“91% of Americans were stressed” and that “84% of recently stressed Americans say they worry that their home isn’t clean or organized enough.”
When you think of the health risks associated with stress – hypertension, depression, obesity, heart disease, etc – it makes you think, is worrying about the cleanliness and organization of your home worth it?
As a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), for this entire month of January we are celebrating GO (Get Organized) Month! Getting organized, and staying that way, is a process. For some it can be simple, for others it can seem nearly impossible. The reality is that nothing is ever perfect. Even some of the most organized people don’t always have it together – trust me! 🙂 Getting organized is a gradual and ongoing process that involves planning, action steps and consistency.
As life gets busy, so does our schedule. Leaving us with little to no time to GO – Get Organized! Therefore, I have put together a simple 4-week plan to get (or keep you) on track to a more organized and clutter-free home and life. This 20 Days of Organization in 2020 calendar can be implemented any month this new year!
